Payment
We accept the following payment methods: Dankort, VISA, MasterCard, Visa Electron, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
For payments with Mastercard Debit (debit card), the amount will be reserved on your account according to your card’s terms, until we either capture or reject the payment.
The amount is charged when the item is shipped.
If you order multiple items in one order, and one or more items are not available for immediate delivery, we only charge you for those items when they are shipped.
Delivery
We offer delivery to addresses in Denmark and Sweden. For other EU countries, delivery can be arranged upon request (contact us by email or phone).
Items are delivered within 1-3 business days in Denmark and 1-7 business days in other countries after your order.
We offer the following delivery options: DAO Parcel Shop, DAO Home Delivery, GLS Parcel Shop, GLS Home Delivery, PostNord Home Delivery, and PostNord Pickup Point.
We offer free shipping to GLS Parcel Shops on orders over 500 DKK; otherwise, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Shipping cost is based on the total weight of your purchase. For surfboards not picked up in-store, shipping is arranged directly between the buyer and Dark Blue Board Shop.
Right of Withdrawal
You may cancel your purchase without giving any reason within 30 days. If you have purchased more than one item in an order, you may choose to cancel the purchase of some items only. See the section “Refund of payment upon withdrawal” regarding partial withdrawal and delivery charges.
The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day you, or another person designated by you (but not the carrier), physically receives the goods.
If you ordered several items in one order and we cannot deliver the goods at the same time, the withdrawal period runs from the day you receive the last item.
If the period expires on a public holiday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended to the next business day.
How to withdraw
You withdraw by giving us clear notice that you wish to cancel. You can call or email us, stating that you wish to cancel, at +45 22422023 or info@darkblue.dk.
You cannot withdraw by refusing to accept the item or by failing to collect it, without also informing us that you wish to cancel.
You may use the standard withdrawal form provided by law, which is included at the end of these terms and conditions, but it is not required.
The withdrawal period is met if you notify us of your cancellation by email or phone before the deadline.
Return of items and return costs
If you have cancelled your purchase, you must send or deliver the goods to Packyard, Elmegade 22, 2200 Copenhagen N, without undue delay and no later than 30 days after you have notified us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the 30 days have expired.
Items cannot be returned cash-on-delivery or without distribution.
You are responsible for the costs associated with returning goods. You may use our prepaid return label for free return shipping.

Refund of payment upon withdrawal
When you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you, including delivery charges. However, this does not include additional costs if you chose a delivery method more expensive than the cheapest option we offer.
If you purchased multiple items and only withdraw part of your order, we do not refund the delivery charges.
We will refund the amount without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date we receive notice of your withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided documentation of return.
Refunds are made using the same payment method as your original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. No fees will be charged for the refund.
Condition of returned goods and packaging
You are only liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
You must return items in their original packaging. The packaging may be opened but not damaged. If packaging is missing or damaged, it may reduce the value of the item, which you will be liable for.
Ensure the item is securely packed if shipped. You bear the risk for the package/items until we receive them. Always keep your postal receipt and any tracking number from your shipping provider.
Complaints – if something is wrong with the item
The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies to purchases.

If we cannot agree on what you are entitled to, you have the following complaint options:
A complaint regarding a product or service can be submitted to the Center for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. You can submit your complaint via the Nævnenes Hus Complaint Portal: https://kpo.naevneneshus.dk.
The EU Commission’s online complaint portal can also be used, especially for consumers residing in another EU country. Submit your complaint here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr. Please provide our email address: info@darkblue.dk when submitting a complaint.

Gift cards
Gift cards for https://darkblue.dk are valid for 5 years. Any remaining balance can be redeemed up to one year after the gift card expires.
