In-store Returns
You can return your item in the shop. Bring the product and your order number/receipt, and we’ll handle it quickly.
Return by Mail:
Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs to us. We cover shipping costs for sending any replacement item back to you.
Refunds
We refund your payment once the returned package is received and approved. You will receive an email when your return is processed and the refund has been initiated. It may take up to 5 business days before the money appears in your bank account.
Right of Withdrawal
You can cancel your purchase for any reason within 30 days. If you bought more than one item in a single order, you can choose to cancel the purchase of some items only. See the “Refund of payment upon withdrawal” section for details about delivery charge refunds on partial returns.
The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day you, or someone you authorize (not the carrier), receives the goods.
If you ordered several items and we cannot deliver them at the same time, the withdrawal period runs from the day you receive the last item.
If the deadline falls on a public holiday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve, it is extended to the following business day.
How to Cancel
You cancel by clearly notifying us. You can call or email us, stating that you wish to cancel, at +45 22422023 or info@darkblue.dk.
You cannot cancel by refusing to accept the package or by failing to collect it, unless you have also notified us that you wish to cancel.
You may use the standard withdrawal form provided by law (see the end of our terms), but it is not mandatory.
The withdrawal period is met if you notify us before the deadline by email or phone.
Returning Items and Return Costs
If you cancel a purchase, you must return or deliver the goods to Dark Blue Board Shop, Klostergade 8, 3000 Helsingør, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the 14 days have expired.
Items cannot be returned cash-on-delivery or without delivery.
You are responsible for the costs associated with returning the item, but you get free return shipping on your order.
Refunds upon Cancellation
When you cancel, we refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs (except extra costs if you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard delivery).
If you ordered several items and only return part of your order, delivery costs are not refunded.
We refund the amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we receive your returned items.
Refunds are made using the same payment method as the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise. No fees will be charged for the refund.
Condition of Returned Items and Packaging
You are only liable for any decrease in value of the item resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.
You must return the item in its original packaging. The packaging can be opened, but not damaged. If packaging is missing or damaged, it may result in a reduction of the refund, which you will be liable for.
Please ensure that the item is securely packed (if shipped) when returning it. You bear the risk for the package/items until we receive them. Always keep your postal receipt and tracking number.
Complaints – if something is wrong with the item
The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies to all purchases.

If we cannot agree on a solution, you have the following complaint options:
A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to the Center for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. You can file a complaint via their portal: https://kpo.naevneneshus.dk.
The EU Commission’s online complaint portal can also be used, especially for customers living in another EU country. Submit your complaint here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
